Pride or Fear?

Could you say it was pride? Or perhaps fear? Pride where you are unable to expose yourself vulnerable, afraid to reveal and lay all your cards on the table. Fear because you might get hurt. So many emotions, so many detrimental effects, how much of that risk are you willing to take?
